Just gauging the current values of Seariders, is this a reasonable price?

I'd say that is tidy. Once the tubes have been inflated to full pressure it will look better. As for price, don't think it's too bad myself.

I wouldn't buy that either-if the guy can't be bothered to inflate the tubes for a pic then the rest of the boat is proably going to show the same lack of care. The trailer looks like an old caravan chassis-or something from one of the less reputable trailr manufacturers.
I'd view it if I was interested, but from the ebay listing the only thing I'd buy that for is the engine.

I have a 80hp Zodiac pro jet and it was not powerful enough to get a waterskier going, so i dont think a 40hp will be able to handle it. It would be good for towing a tube though.

But - Jets will never be as good as popping a skier as an OB - I had an 80 HP jetski - that strugged to pop me up - 50hp 4m rib copes fine.
