Avon 3.45 rib, 25hp yamaha?

Hi,
Im looking at buying a avon 3.45 sports rib and it does not have an engine.
I have a yamaha enduro 25 already, would it be powerful enough for it as i don't know what the maximum/minimum horse power is.
How many knots do could i get out of it?
Would i be able to tow a donut?
Thanks.

I've got one of these with a yamaha 9.9hp 4 stroke on it and it'll do 17 knots one up! I've got a single seat centre console in it with a 15l tank under the seat. Pull start so no battery on board

S3.45 is rated to 30hp max. They take a longshaft motor, so check your 25 Yam is suitable.
You should be good for 28ish kts and it will be ok to tow a ringo.

Yes, unless the transom's been chopped to take a std shaft motor.

Does it have red seats?

I've been tempted for a while to buy one of these, rip out the silly back to back seats, dashboard & 'bonnet', then fit a 3-cyl Soozook DT30 on a tiller.

I reckon it'd be a rite larf, being light as a feather with a bit of a vee in the hull.

The later S3.46 versions are rated to 40hp - now one of those would be tasty with a 3-cyl, 2-stroke Yam ......
