Update of the NL project:

*Deck has been removed (rotten wooden plates)
*Hull has been cleaned.
*Stringers have been removed
(because these were totally torn, wrecked and half filled with wet and shitty foam rests).
*Tubes have been ordered.

Little redesign:
Boat is going to get an aluminium deckplate instead of GRP.
It will also get aluminium consoles (inhome design).

We're not going to replace the stringers by new ones, but the hull will be completely foam filled with an extremely strong and stiff epoxyfoam (Sicomin).

Underneath a couple of pictures:

The concept of the console design for the Atlantic is ready.
All will be made in 5083 Aluminum.
Consoles will be welded to the aluminum deckplate.

Thanks!
By the way, it should be quality built, otherwise it would not be able to take the 300hp waiting in the other room..

We'll see what the 300HPDI does.
I'd rather put on a twin of the new Merc 150 or something comparable. We had this one standing in the corner allready, so why not use it. The Atlantic's not a boat for speed anyway..

Absolutely not a clue if a single engine is a good idea on boat with a wide pad like the Atlantic. We can always change the HPDI when not ok and buy a pair of engines in return when characteristics are not as wished.
