Has anybody got any experience of running one of these

what are they like with twin 150's or 225's or would a single 300 be better

Stu, if I was in the market for a rib of that size, I would asking you for advice. Are you going to become a shipping magnet based around a fleet of large ribs ?

i'd love to but i think Safety Boat services have got that market cornered. I was having a discussion with Phil yesterday who owns an Artic Hull about what sort of engine's I thought a minimum of 2 200's for performance but he was wondering about a single 300.

I said that i didn't think it would be OK but dunno for sure. do you know what do the military clip on?

They used to use 2 x 200 Yams but that was in the days when you could buy glorious fire beathing 2 strokes rather than an up ended car engines.

I know someone very local to Pete7 that has an Artic 28, been an ongoing project for a couple of years, he's converting it to an inboard.
