Anything useful to plug a 1/2" hole in console?
I used to have two toggle switches on console. I recently replaced these with a switch panel in a different position.
The switches are now redundant so I want to remove them. I have ordered a multicoloured led battery/voltage indicator but can't think of anything else useful to plug the other one. I have Vhf, GPS, lights, compass already. Not looking to spend much.
Anyone got any nice things that plug a small gap or are actually useful?

I2v Charger/usb point???.. about an inch in diameter....maybe a tad more.
Whole bunch of applications,I find mine most useful
..waterproof and un-obtrusive 
An alternative which I aslo have is a remote charging point for the Batteries...same plug.

I did that with a Bulgin Buccaneer 2 pin plug.
It's rated at 20A DC - and guess what the car's Aux battery charging circuit can provide current wise?
Not sure what the flush mount kits need in the way of a hole, but if you have thre 23N/S then it's a nice simple 2- core jumper cable 13 Pin plug o nthe car and you'll need a breakout box o nthe trailer or a splitter in the lighting board cable and you know you'll be fully charged by the time you hit the slip!

I already have one 12v accessory socket, and this location is possibly not that dry and might be a bit awkward for it. The charging socket is a good call though, I'll see if I can find a small waterproof socket. It would be quite remote from battery so would only want to trickle charge anyway (it's only a wee battery anyway).

IIRC, it's made of HDPE? I didn't get a good look over Poly's shoulder....

Carling have just brought out a double USB socket that fits into a normal carling cutout, £74 iirc

You're right - and so filler won't stick properly! I could weld it to fill the hole but I doubt I can make a pretty job of it.
The clock is an interesting idea - but the VHF displays time, and I don't take divers.
