Anyone used speedshift parcel service?

I am in progress to buy a engine from UK and checking various transport possibilities.

On the speedshift calculator the price for a roughly 200 kg parcel is much cheaper than a pallet, any downside in using the parcel cervice if the cradle is properly built?

So far only used pallets so litle suspicious about the parcel thing.

Any input would be highly appriciated

I don't see how a 200kg parcel could be handled other than on a pallet. If it were me, I'd go for the pallet option - at least then you know it can be properly strapped down and its not going to be left upside down etc. I've used Speedshift before with no problems.

I've used Speedshift a few times for pallets with no problems, but the parcel option is new to me. Why not call and have a chat? It's run by a RIBnet member (Codprawn) and I'm sure he would be happy to advise.

Deal is not yet done though, but if, I assume its from someones home, Slough area.
