Anyone recommend a person who can weld stainless?

Can anyone recommomend someone who can perform repairs to stainless steel? I have two backrests which need a bit of welding and I need it done before the end of next week? Does anyone know someone who does a good job, quickly, and doesn't charge the earth in the Hampshire area?

You could try a Guy called John Ferguson (Fergie) based in Cowes. He built my A frame from scratch and did a very good job. His mobile number is 07775 942 705. He has a small unit at Britannia wharf.

I've heard that Stainless Steve in Lymington produces some really nice work

Can't comment on his work from first hand experience, but I'm sure that there'll be someone on here who's used him and can comment more reliably

Many thanks for this. I rang the number you sent and introduced my self to be told "I know you have a Solent Rib" which was a tad weird. Very pleased indeed. Mark picked them up from me yesterday at 12. He just brought them back. All fixed and ready to go. He charged me £30. I was absolutely amazed. Will certainly use him again!
