Anyone know a good paint for plastic in avon orange?

Just ordered my new centre console from leeway composites. I want to put as big a hatch in the front as possible but from what I can see they are only available in white-so does anyone know of a good colour match paint that will stick to the hatches on the website below?

I wouldn't paint the hatches, as I doubt they would stay looking good for long.

I'd go with Stuart's suggestion. Black hatches look fine on an orange console.

Available in black? Where?!

Black would be pretty good-I can't seem to find any on a web search though and as my nearest chandlers that deals in anything other than riverboats is 45 miles away any info is greatly received-cheers!

[Copied from my post elsewhere on the same subject]

Had the same problem. Orange / Black Rib but could only find White hatches.

HOWEVER, these people (International Marine Supplies - 01427-891144) are very helpful and do white hatches which they paint black, they sell the hatches and paint and actually make hatches for a rib manufacturer which are white painted black!

They will even spray them for you and say the paint will not flake off - they are used in harsh environments!

Very helpful on the phone.

Note: Some white hatches cannot be painted, must be the correct hatch material and type of paint (outboard paint I think) - Internatinal know which is which.

I may have a spare (original) black hatch - what size do you want?

I'll check the name of the hatch I used - it was american and they have a uk supplier I think

I'm not 100% sure what size hatch to use yet-Biggest possible without stressing the console really.it all depends on the console when it arrives and how strong it looks.

That supplier name would be handy though....
