Anyone have experience with Crompton Marine Ltd. (UK)

I have been doing a bit of research as the manufacturer of my hull (OTech) has gone under, and found this:

"The hull has a unique deep-vee design that flattens to a delta conic planing curve at the transom and a series of concave spray chines that run the length of the boat. Together, they generate effects that give the RHIB an uncharacteristically dry ride and superior performance in the roughest seas. This innovative hull design was developed by Crompton Marine Ltd. (UK) after 18 years experience with RHIBs in hostile North Sea conditions. Licensed by Crompton and in conjunction with Sintes Fiberglass Designs, Otech has modified the series to incorporate a molded deck, a quick tube replacement system and the SCRIMP method of fiberglass construction."

I am just hoping to reach out to them as I own one of only three hulls to make it into civilian hands and hoped someone might know something about my hull.

Thanks to any and all!

Boatbuilding firm supplied 'uncatchable' boats to smugglers, court hears | Mail Online

Love it that they were playing both sides... I think I should put another engine or 2 on mine...

The boat and hull are superb, one characteristic of the planing flat is that when you are on the plane the boat is constantly falling off the plane to one side. This effects makes you correct the steering constantly and wears the steering.

Pass, thought they were jailed but I may be wrong.

The company was definitely sold off in bits by HMRC though.

So Red are you saying that Crompton fixed this in their hull design? Mine drives straight as an arrow at full throttle. Its just a little bit of a roller skate during high speed turns but you get used to it.

I dont find that at all. I have a 2001 Crompton, at 43knts the boat is very stable, however that can be due to twin engine installation.
