Anybody ever tried a 25hp on a 10' rib ?

hi I have a 10' Achilles rib ..and was wundering if my 25hp Johnson 2 stroke would be too much power for it ? I already tried it out at the lake and it felt ok ...wasn't bad ...felt fine to me ...just wundering if anybody has done this for any amount of time without damage ? I don't want to crack the transom or anything ?

Is it a rib or just an inflatable?
From the Achilles website their 315 Rib (about 10'2" is rated at 20hp so you're probably leaving yourself open to insurance issues-and the inflatable of the same size appears to be rated to 10hp.

I have a 3.9 metre soft hull which is rated to 25hp, and that's what I have on it. It's not the quickest thing when you're six up, but if you're solo or with only one passenger and not much gear it will do 25 knots on calm water. I certainly wouldn't want to put that engine on anything smaller

I've had a 30hp on a boat just under 10', also on the quicksilver rhino rider boat (without the console, just tiller control) I had a 30hp mariner on it, good fun. They're rated to 25hp with a console and 15hp without I think? Works fine with 30hp tiller though.
