Not sure of the size, but is it some form of rescue sling for assisting to get people back into the boat ?

Ill dig it out again and give it a quick measure but i just dont think the straps are anywhere near strong enough to hold the weight of a person.

I reckon a tube protector is gonna be the answer.

I av already said what it's for In an earlier post its for when you roll your sib up and pack it away mine had one the same

I know you did but people keep giving other suggestions and my boat is not a sib but toobs do detach so i agree to some extent.
