Any experience of Aviva Boats

I'm still hunting for a family RIB and, through boatsandoutboards.co.uk, I have come across Aviva Boats (http://avivaboats.com). They claim to sell bank repossessions and have a nice looking Ribcraft 585.

I'm sceptical! Has anyone any experience (good or bad) of buying from them?

Has scam written all over it. The pics they have are not their own, I seen that rib for sale with those pics about 1 year ago and it was 13-15k if memory serves, more in line with what it should cost I would suggest.

Company info says they are in Poland........draw your own conclusions.

Send them an email seeking to view and the response will give you the answer, I suspect it will be pay for it and we'll ship it to you deals.

You just don't get that type of boat for that money.

Infact, all their boats are well off proper value.

Cheers

Complete scam, most of the pictures are lifted straight from ebay, Boats and Outboards etc.

For instance here is the real advert for the Four Winns they are claiming to sell.
four winns Vista 248 cuddy cabin power boat | eBay

If it looks too good to be true, it is.

Oh, and no real company would get away with that name and logo.

And their logo is that of Aviva Insurance - I didn't know they had a boat recovery / resale business - and even if they did it wouldn't be based in Poland.
Scam for sure.

And a 260 litre tank on an RC585....that's impressive.

Yep - it's obviously when you think about it (clearly I wasn't). Thanks for your words of wisdom.
