amphibious rib - sealegs, wow

Saw a 6m rib with a 115 yamah on the menai straits on sat, drove out of the gazelle pub car park, down the beach and in to the water over to a cruiser. How practical.

If you google "sealegs" it was one of these boats from NZ who have a dealer in London now. No doubt see more of these!

Yeh its usually moored up in deganwy marina. Quite cool.

I've seen one of these around Salcombe in the summer too - no messing about mooring off the beach - it just drives straight up the beach.

yep i saw it to paul nearly split me pint ...thanks for info about gazelle great place to stay sorry i missed you ..thank yea dad for the offer of a ride in your rib really nice of him ..see you next week

I'll have to pop over there and take a look at it, would come in handy for when we do bank surveys out in the Dee Estuary. Wonder if the system can be retro fitted to a P22.........
