Ambient temp / curing Hyplaon 2- part Adhesive?

OK, I have searched here, I have searched google, I've even used the "rule #1 for blokes - if all ase fails, read the intructions"

Here's the thing.

Polymarine 2 part Hypalon adhesive - I can find plenty of references for what humidity levels I need to be within, but nowhere can I find a min (or max) temp for the curing.

- is this becuase it doesn't actually matter, and the ambient temp will just speed up / slow down the reaction, or am I having a moment & missing something?

The working temperature for most adhesives is 10C min, 30C max. 20C +/- 3C is ideal with an RH of about 30-40%.

Be sure to scuff properly and be sure the surface has been wiped multiple times with a lint-free cloth of toluene.

What is this high of which you speak? Does it come with the legend of the big yellow ball in the sky?

Joking aside I think I might need to right up some localised warming or I really will need to wait... I reckon I could build a frame with some garden canes and drape some thick polythene over it. Then park a small oil filled radiator underneath.

To edit a post once you've "posted" it, tap the post and some options should appear allowing you to delete/edit, etc. Not sure you can edit a whole thread though.

You must be careful with this technique, as it can cause a greenhouse with high-humidity.

Inflatable boats are best repaired indoors, in a climate controlled area. Most importantly, you must be out of direct sunlight since the hardener (typically Desmodurr RFE or RE) is UV reactive.

Wind and sunlight are awful for gluing.
