Really envious of all these posts recently showing amazing boating area's!

For the next few months I have loads on so only have a odd day to get the RIB out, but they are all a little far away for a day trip!

That's a belter of a picture.

We are blessed with some of the most picturesque cruising in the country.

When the weather is good, there is nowhere finer than the UK. When it's bad, just gwear the right clothing and get out there.

Very jealous.

Amazing Skye

I can see my house!

All that ground on the right of Loch Eil is my place.

Nice Did you go up via the tourist donkey track or the NE arête? We looked at it last week as we cruised by.
For the record, Fort William isn't very welcoming for visiting boats, couldn't find anywhere to tie up or land. We ended up across at the TINY pontoon at the bottom of Neptunes staircase, had a coffee & went home. Stunning scenery on the way up/down though.

'Twas a last minute thing, the others had gone off to Mallaig & we decided to stay local & have a wander, not knowing where we would end up. Next time

3rd time lucky!
Weather has always played it's part. The last few times I have found myself in that area it's been awful, but that was Jan and Mar.
Yes I did follow the donkey trail and felt that I was cheating a little with such an easy path.
However I am already into the maps and the route up the North side and along the ridge from
Carn Mor Dearg looks good. Yesterday it looked like there was still a lot of snow on the ridge.
Beautiful place Sea and Mountain in easy access.

Look out to sea to the west and I will give you a wave from the Uists , I like Skye always make a point of having a few hours spare on the way to the ferry home to have a look around
