Am I being scammed

Guys- any experience out there??

I ordered a plotter from Marine Magestore. One week later they called me and said the factory was washed away in the Tsunami and couldn't deliver. They offered me a great price on the second option.

This was ten days ago.

Today I called to see where the order was and was given a Fedex tracking number. This was not the tracking code for my item. In fact Fedex have no record of the consignment.

I'm being to wonder if I'm about to get stuffed for over £300 from a bunch of fraudsters.

Please tell me I'm wrong! Help..

theres a couple of threads on here about them. Not got the best reputation for customer service, but as I recall everyone got product or refund eventually.

I've bought stuff off them with no probs, if you bought off them on line it should have been safe. Is this the website you used.

Hopefully not.

I ordered a few items and they were delivered on time. They might have messed up the tracking number etc. so it will arrive with another courier rather than Fedex.

Also, it is being sent by UKMAIL (the S**t company....) they sometimes don't even leave a card. and if you call them and give them the right tracking number they will tell you that our cards were printed wrongly so we could not leave card!

Please Update your post so we know what has happend?

There's loads of thread on them. I made the mistake of ordering from them before. Got my stuff eventually, but it took weeks and caused me a lot of grief

I bought a wetline 260 tender off them a couple of weeks ago. The site said they had it in stock. So I placed the order online then phoned them a couple of day later to get them to confirm that it was in stock. They never answer the phone or reply to voicemail or emails. You have to use a system called live chat which does work most if the time. I finally got to chat with James after waiting for 55 minutes he then said it was available. Available where? was my reply. " china or your warehouse? No response from James. he wouldn't give me a fedex tracking number and I it finally came after waited two weeks.

I believe that they hold minimal stock and don't care about customers. I will avoid them in the future. My advised is you might as well buy off a eBay seller with 50% feedback. Sorry to be negative but these guys drove me crazy

i'm finding that a lot of places have cut back on the stock they hold, the places where i've been going for years just don't hold stock, ebay's pretty good or if you have to buy from a shop like that make it perfectly clear that you will only buy if it is in the shop's stock
