Anytime.

Zebedee really would be bouncing around if you hit one of those at 30 knots!!

I would guess that they are a fairly dark colour too so practically invisible until you are right on top of them.

Big nasty hazard. I'm not sure what our friends from Solent Coastguard will do about this hazard but if left they will be around for a long time.

Funny enuff this isn't the half of it! The barge and tug work out of Falmouth (Jan my skipper knows the guy) and was on it's way to do a job in Portsmouth harbour and anchored overnight by Sandown.

A wave came along and the barge listed causing the entire cargo to fall off, what the report doesn't mention is that also on the deck and now on the botton of the sea is a 150 ton crane and a 48 ton digger.

In the words of the late Robert Palmer 'Some guys have all the luck'

Dunno if it's one of them, but there's a huge, (at least 20 foot long, and railway sleeper thickness), "piece" of wood thats just been washed up on Hill Head beach.. Running into that would be an experience..

It's gone, took the dog down there Sunday afternoon, and it's no more. Someone must have cut it up that morning..

Can't trust the people of Hill Head..
