Back off hols and.................no probs AT ALL with the the hubs......perhaps a good and I mean good going over with copper slip grease may be the answer, EP 90 oil in the cables and more copperslip worked in either end. My firend Bill S will move the boat in a few days, so no doubt he will report the condtion back to me.........then the boat does not move until July.....then we will see !!!! Hope this may help someone !

Several years on...I got rather annoyed and took all the brakes off....a lot better as they were not needed now on my 3rd set of bearings, I have made and installed fresh water flushing for the drums.....so far so good....3 years peace and quiet.
