So with the 585 and the 4 being bought to learn about things, will you now be selling one?

You've two very nice boats.
Hi HP,

Thanks chap. I am really pleased with them as I said at the start of the thread I was very lucky with the RC and also with the SR that came up for sale at the right time. Sorry but I am keeping them both It does mean that each boat gets less use as I can old take one out at a time but I am very attached to both of them. They both have there own advantages and fun factor so depending on what the weather is doing on the day decides which one goes out.

Seeing AJs one is making me REALLY want one to tow about behind the 3 series and adventure in cruises.

Sold my old house last week and it completes next week, so there's scope for a budget to be negotiated.

There great fun and very capable boats and a pleasure to tow cause they are so light. Come on HP sounds like there is money burning in your pocket you won't regret it.

Yep, it's like owning a more socially acceptable and politically correct version of a jet-ski!! All the fun without the fear of picking up an ASBO! Lol

Love mine but am also considering the purchase of a slightly bigger more family friendly rib to go with it...

Great re-build Btw AJ, well done!!

Simon

Finally got round to sorting the seat out. The seat base can at a push hold two people but I take this out solo. The base is plastic with 10lb foam with a raised rear section. The back rest again is plastic with foam. I also got made an add on back rest made which connects with two straps and poppers to the main back rest. It looks a little weird but is really supportive and takes some of the fatigue out of a full day wave jumping. The material is non slip in black with orange piping to match the boat.
