I want to fit a lightweight aframe on my Ribcraft 4.8. Does anyone know where I can find one have one made in aluminium or have any other ideas please?

What's the reason for a lightweight aluminium A-frame? RIBcraft can supply bespoke double A-Frame in stainless-steel. Most of the after-market A-frames out there will be stainless steel too.

speak to Jason at Ribcraft, i know he has done a couple for a 4.8 and 585's in ally, same design as the S/S versions they do.

I have worked on few commercial RIB's which had Alu 'A' frames and all suffer from corrosion around stainless fittings and fixtures, so if you want to go down the alu route make sure you insulate all fittings and bolts and use grease on the threads.

Have you looked on e-bay? the last time I had a look there were about 35/40 up for sale, both new and used.
