Advice sought please re SR4 deck

I can't speak highly enough about this site. The expertise and experience available is second to none. Once again, in Oliver Twist fashion, I come bowl in hand begging for more.

This time I need advice on how to refurbish the deck of my SR4. It's a moulded cream GRP version. It is sound but very faded and prone to marking so time for a coat or two of something.
What do you guys suggest?

I want to change the colour. I have a brilliant white jockey console to install, so I thought I might contrast the decks with a different colour. Perhaps light grey.

I appreciate your help and suggestions.

What equipment and skills do you have? If you search you'll find people who have flow coated decks and who have painted then. If you've got spray kit (and experience) it might be a different answer that if you are planning to use a brush.

I have a friend who can spray so I have that option but am I right in saying flow coating is more durable?

I flowcoated the deck of my Searider, it goes as hard as a goats knee and is very durable. I've yet to come across a paint that is as durable.

Pretty much what I did with my Tornado but I used some fine sand in the paint for a grip surface

I wouldn't paint/flow. leave it the original colour and make good. I always question why something that has been painted and /or covered up. with the right tools etc that deck would look superb!
With a mega polish that would be less prone to marking.
Clean with Oxalic acid and finish it with G10 with a lambswool polishing disc. This one below was scratched/faded/stained etc
and so was the white 4.7. badly.
