Advice required

I am currently working in land locked West Yorkshire until July of next year. My boat is currently stored with Redbay. My intention is to bring over to the North West in the spring. My work pattern would give access to the boat every other weekend. The problem is where to securely store it with relatively easy launch and recovery at all states of tide, and not too long a drive from the Huddersfield area. When I complete my current project the boat will go back to Ireland , or up to the West coast of Scotland. Any advice from NW Ribsters would be greatly welcomed...

Try this

www.boatlaunch.co.uk

Zoom in on the area, then click on the specific place, it gives information that will help, some have pictures

Its a good place to start

Huddersfield to.........

.......the Mersey is about 90 minutes if that on a Saturday morning. Chester is another 35 minutes further on or, if you fancy something a little more serious Anglesey is another 60 minutes with a good run. There's also Blackpool, Morcombe, Ormskirk, The Wirral.

That said, you're probubaly just as well mooching toward the East coast as you are the N.W. Just a thought.

Anyway, if you tie this info in with the above post you may find something suitable. Of course, you're always welcome in Abersoch / Pwhelli North Wales.
