false HID number

Is putting a false no. taken from another boat as the splashed hull has been done, seen to be as bad as doing the same to a car.Or is it REALLY NOT IMPORTANT.

hang on, Lorne Campbell? Isn't he a bit of a powerboat legend? (Memory dimming with old age, but do remember that name - from the '60's maybe, some racing boats and stuff??)

That's the one, same guy who designed the bladerunner, and as I'm sure cookee'll tell you, they share some of the same characteristics.

I'd rather keep the actual Royalty payment details between the two parties if it's all the same to you!

The hull was designed for us originally for the race boat - we have completely redesigned the deck, and made some small detail changes to the hull, but it was still originally designed by Lorne, so we'll still pay him!

Yes Lorne is the legendry race boat designer - he has also done work for Formula in the US redesigning thier steps for them. He was the designer of "Slipstream" which has been succesfull in Class III 2 litre this year in the hands of the Rendle brothers. There are still Cambell Wright cats racing in todays fleet by the way!

Bladerunner was designed before ours, and there are some similarities to the shape of the bow especially!

would having a false CE plate invalidate your insurance or is a normal policey cover actualy covering the person and claims against him as an owner of a boat
