Wow....

errr perhaps you took everything I said a little to literally....

No, seriously, if you have, you've got a seriously good hull there. The best of luck to you! (retrofits welcome!)

Thank you - not sure what you mean by "retrofits welcome" though?

I mean anything new you add - I'll have (at a big discount of course!)

In all seriousness, if you do something with it and I can afford it, it's definately a boat I'd buy from you in the future.

Any particular plans?

Cheers

Just to clear any uncertainty up here - we have got nothing to do with the razor hull - only the Salcombe Flyer moulds, and you won't recognise them when we're done!!

Olmec 6.1/hullrazor issue

Just to make a few points on the rib issue here.

Althouth they are advertised as Olmec, Olmec only made one hull. The others were all made by third parties. However, all of the boats from the mould have been tubed by Olmec.

When Bob and I left Olmec, we decided to keep the mould for our own personal use, or a possible business venture. We made our own boat and Salcombe Flyer was approached last summer, but sadly to no avail. It was our intention to remarket the boat as 'Hullrazor'.

------

The boat (with engine) and trailer weighs in just under 700 kilos according to our local weigh bridge. Towing is no problem with a Mk2 Golf Gti.

------

Thanks to RichL for his comments! Look forward to meeting Jon at the weekend for a razz

Joe
