Advice and guidance

Aha!! I do exist, but can no longer survive without a RIB!!

After much discussion with the boss, we need a RIB which is:
5.85 to 6m long
Not TOO beamy
FAST
Basic but good quality fit out
Has good seakeeping and dry(ish) ride (as in won't drench the boss at the first sign of chop)
wide console and 2+2 side by side jockeys.

At the moment, I'm tending towards a new Solent.

Any comments or advice.

I was going down that route, but got fed up with delays etc. Also think they might be a bit "agricultural" by now?

At the risk of starting a riot, Leeway 600.

I have an Evinrude 115 on it and it is brilliant. Quick enough (could be quicker but it is propped to ski/tow/have fun with etc.) and only 10l/hour. Very low drag and responsive hull shape, sexy looker and so far a dry boat (including spectating the Volvo Ocean Race off Portsmouth in 25knots gusting 40!).

Don't like the old fashioned "chord" approach to bow curvature on the tubes.

Solent
Tohatsu
Leeway
Osprey
Ring

Short(ish) list

Comments?

Leeway! 10/11 weeks is all it takes. Be quick before his prices go up. (deservedly IMHO) Am fitting ours out as i speak and thoroughly enjoying myself.

Solent make a 585 and 6 they have a 585 demo boat in Fareham give them a call . If money is not too big an issue spend the extra cash on the 6m I am biased towards Solents I know, but they are good value for money.
Happy hunting
