having tried this route first, the lack of a caravan caused me an issue.

aa?

We were towing a trailer for a friend when the bearing gave way, my dad has a personal AA card i.e not registered to vehicle but it is through his company. cant remeber what level the card was. but they came and collected the trailer and took it to where it wanted to go. this was about 2 years ago though

I think you were quite lucky then. I have checked and double checked before leaving them and they confirm they no longer cover trailers if its the trailer at fault. You might want to call them if you rely on them.

No you don't - always be entirely honest.

"Yes - I have a 26' caravan. It's mostly white, has seating for 8, really nice blue trim - kind of cylindrical. Heating and Cooking? Oh yeah - a Yanmar 6LP-STZP range. It cooks a mean fried egg...".

Why not - if it works...

Yup, but when they started to ask what caravan i had, size, berths, make etc i lost the will to live and gave up.

Still Britannia worked out cheaper in the long run.
