A Valiant DR490 Makes The RNLI Fleet

the RNlI`s sea safety team have gained a new asset in their campaign to ensure that leisure boaters carry appropriate safety equipment

yes it a valiant DR490 with a mariner 40 hp two stroke

a 4.9m RIB equipped with all the appropriate safety equipment,
made its first offical appearance at the southampton boat show where it provided a paratical demonstration of what equipment to carry and how best to install and stow the equipment

the boat and support vehicle will be used at land based events and to carry
out inspection of boats in harbours

so now valiant are so good the rnli use one but not very fast with a 40hp on a 4.9m

VALIANT is also used by the Fire & Rescue services in Gloucestershire.

SAMSPEED MARINE @ http://www.samspeedmarine.com (Martin a very good friend of mine) is their main dealer in the region.

They are also the Yamaha repsand authorised service & repair centre in the region (in case one is interested).

Sorry to hi-jack the thread.

Completly agree with Manos - I also use Samspeed and they have been fantastic not just for servicing the boat but servicing for the trailer too.

Yes Mike I forgot about that, SAMSPEED MARINE also make and service trailers. As far as I know some big RIB and hard boat names use their trailers too.
