I managed to try one on today at Powerboat Training UK. It had a full length clear visor which I found obscured my vision when in the up position - so I’m going to get a clear half length one. The weathers going to be c**p when I’m wearing the helmet to a tinted visor seems a little pointless.
As for colour - probably going to stick with boring old white. Being mistaken for a buoy isn't really a problem - my lifejackets bright orange with reflective tape everywhere. I'm tempted by the orange but it’s not quite the same colour as the RIB...
Hello Daniel and welcome to the team. I have too helmets with full face visors. I must say that these are invaluable in bad conditions. I did have a half length visor and found that spray still got to my face, plus the full length is better for cold conditions.

The most popular package which we sell to our professional clients is a Mark 10 Gecko in Hi Vis Yellow with retro reflective patches and a 2/3 face visor. which gives almost all of the protection of a full visor but which will not fog.
