A question on PVC tubes!
This may sound like a stupid question but here we go, I am getting my tornado retubed in pvc, Im getting it in dark grey and hope to have a black rubbing strake and black handles, Firstly do ye know of anywhere i can order some rubbing strake for PVC? if possible the heavy duty stuff, The guy doing my tubes tells me he only has grey rubbing strake so Im looking to get it myself, here is my stupid question, can you glue on rubbing strake made for hypalon to PVC tubes? if anyone can offer me advice it would be very helpfull!!

etc and they'll be able to help you. I think you can glue normal strake on but use the right glue.

I'm getting it retubed by a guy I know up the country, lencraft don't do PVC, I'm not sure about red bay. I have been quoted anywhere between 1700euro to 4500euro

What is the thickness of the PVC fabric you are retubbing your rib with, the heavy duty reinforced 1.2 mm fabric ? Don't go for less, will last longer than standard and much cheaper than hypalon. I think you cannot glue right Hypalon accesories on pvc tubes, which glue to use hypalon or pvc, that is the issue ? Will ask my Zodiac tecnician latter, he sure knows as he works with both fabrics.

dont forget that some rubbers and pvc will react badly to each other and cause plasticer migration and the pvc will become brittle in a very short time
