as for Richard flying the Parker flag then why should one be suprised. Just like any Scorpion , Avon, Ribcraft, Humber owner ect would fly the flag of their chosen rib manufacturer, and so they should.

I have just realised I had missed out that Richard is a sub-dealer for Parker Ribs and so he should wave the flag and what a grand job he is doing too. If you were to look closely at the flags on Nautibouy you will see that

Me neither, I thought that only Northcraft had that sector of the market covered.

That could be quite a good competition
My guess:-

Either Slipknot or the Goombay Dance band playing Seven Tears 12 times in a row?

Choppers In Yeovil????

Amazing amount of "insider" knowledge you have.
To the untrained eye one may think Andre has you on the pay role!

Is it possible to compare a 9m to what would seem to be a 6m hull?
Surely they would be very different in construction? IMHO.

One of the reasons I picked a Ribcraft over anything else was their awesome reputation of strength and build quality.
Not one Ribcraft owner I have spoken had anything bad to say about the vessel.
The residual value on second hand Ribcraft's only support this.
Not many can say the same.

To answer the question re the drum it is part of a resin fed roller system for wetting out the combination snd chop strand mat used in the prodution process. No choppers in Yeovil!!
As most in the know understand choppers are the anti christ!

I am at the factory tomorrow will post more pix after.

All the best
Dear JON
I am afraid i have to tell you there are CHOPPERS IN YEOVIL but thankfully they they are the rotor bladed type & are built at WESTLANDS down the road from RIBCRAFT. I have to say though i agree on the spray chopped mat, i once owned a SEALINE S34 that had hull & stringers that where made up with chopped mat. On the way home from the channel islands once it got a bit lumpy so i slowed down to approx 8>10Knts, when back in Weymouth i found the heads did'nt work so up came the deck plates to take a look & i was horrified, at least 8 stringers on the port side & the same on the starboard side had just split open & away from the hull also 2 engine bearers had broken up to. Sealine came & took a look & a low loader arrived the next day & took her away with a full refund or new boat, i took the refund as i wanted a boat i could feel safe with.....brought a Sunseeker Portifino 400, totally different kettle of fish all hand layed up with rovings the thing was bullet proof. I would never knowingly buy a boat again that was SPRAYED INTO THE MOULD as i use a boat all year around & in all weathers i like to think that what im in will stay in one piece, got a Ribcraft now as well, Exellent boat + build.
Mike.
