i would simply make up a humber style single loop a frame from 1 - 1 1/w stainless (make sure its a4 grade - a2 will rust in salt water).

all these a frames are is a squashed hexagon with one side missing and rounded corners (ie 4 x approx 120 deg bends)

the only welding you will have to do is the tabs for the bolts and a couple of tabs for bolting on your lights and antennas (this wont need special polishing - who cares if the stainless is not perfect at the point where its welded - no one will ever notice if you just clean it up by hand)

i guarentee it will look shit loads better than scaffolding or hand painted mild steel (which will just rust from inside)

i have searider with made up A frame that came with it can post pictures and sizes etc if it helps any one out
