A Frame Repair/New

Looking for someone in the Glasgow/Renfrewshire area that can either repair or make a new A Frame for my Northcraft rib.

Northcraft have offered to repair/make but it means dragging the RIB all the way to their factory. Would prefer to use someone local

Any suggestions?

ferry marine is worth a call, they have been known to assemble northcraft ribs in scotland sometimes. may well have something suitable they can put their hands on or recommend where to get one made.

if it is a custom double A frame and stainless you better get the credit card out!

Sorry then, I don't know anywhere up here. If you have an old frame then you could cut it up and post it down to northcraft to copy it? Or anyone for that matter. Postage would be huge though if it won't lie on a pallet perhaps.

Another option is perhaps a standard off the shelf and make it work.

Can you not have the one you have now refinished? There are a lot of powder coating places in Glasgow

I can recommend a local firm in my area, Google -
RMS Prestwick.
They specialise in stainless steel exhaust fabrication and alloy wheel restoration.
They will tackle anything though as they are an engineering firm.
Go to the engineering section of the website.
If you know want made, or if you have the old frame they will fix / replicate it.
Can vouch for their work having had a motorcycle exhaust made by them years ago.
I hear nothing but complimentary comments on their work in general .
I'm sure they would be willing to tackle your job.
