Are they running far up the coast before they 'turn left' and head for FishG ?

Looks like the boats running well at a nice cruise speed and good weather.

I'm guessing there are a lot of us on here who would love to be doing what they're doing.

agree and if those "lots on here" were to donate even £5.00 each the RibNet sponsorship would look good. as of now it is rather low

My plan is to be on the water as they arrive back - be good if we could pull some boats togther to go meet them and coem back in with them? - if it fits only for a few miles

Steve, many thanks as every penny , pound counts. they are still short of their target but hopefully they will get close.

we were collecting into the RNLI buckets yesterday having one of the 999 Challenge vans next to the Poole seasafari van. Cars were parking on the kerb just behind so we were taking donations for "so called permission to be there"

an OAP put a fiver into the bucket and said she loved the RNLI. I do not know how much was collected but for sure quite a sum .

My money, my choice - so hard cheese! Where, When and If I support the RNLI is entirely my own business. I can't imagine for a minute why I'd support WUKSAR?!? I'd have preferred that you didn't moan about my lack of charity in public, but there you go. As we're having a frank and open discussion, I might as well speak my own mind and point out that your own "donation" to this charity will be bringing your business a huge amount of publicity, good PR and a chance to plug your boats as Round Britain capable, so the level of pure altruism displayed in your action is debatable, IMO. Pretty much my view too. I choose which charities and events I support and sponsored jollies very rarely make it to the list. Sorry if this is a disappointment to you Andre.

I'm sure they'll have a great time and that the boat will do them proud. I hope they've got plenty of sunscreen!

it is a bit but I am not going to cry over that. if it had been for any other charity not RNLI / WUKSART I would not have wanted to get the forum involved. I guess it was a mistake on my part and one can only learn from ones mistakes.

I am happy to have supplied the rib and in return all I want is just publicity for Parker Ribs.

I have got to agree with Wilk and John on this. As a forum supporter I really don't need to be slagged of because I haven't donated to a particular charity event. Like most people on here I support many charities because I want to!!
May I remind the OP that many on here like me donated to McMillian Cancer Care and RNLI by attending and donating to the Angelsey and ERR.

I agree with no body ever. Problem with online forums is people see things said in text but have no reference to the way its said or no reference to a persons body language or tone, hence stuff said in text can go down the wrong way. If the said conversation happened in a pub between people it would be no big deal.

may we ask you how are you refueling for this Rb ? as RB challenge has been cancelled we re now looking for other options, did u found fuel on pontoon in all marians you re overnighting ?
