Thanks Andre, that is quite interesting. I'm thinking of a Poole -> Penzance trip to visit a friend over the Aug bank holiday, so good to see the data from Never Enough's leg.

Hi Paul , you are most welcome. Please let me know once you have done the trip how it compared to the leg done by The 999 Challenge.

Is that the rebadged VW V8 unit? Nice engine, very sporty I believe. Better yet, Cummins haven't been playing with it...

No no it is the 4.2 but now Cummins are out of the picture and have nothing to do with that range

Good point. Just looked at the chart again and I see what you mean. Will pop the question to the Team leader on my return

On the 18th October my wife and I were invited to the 999 Coastal Challenge Presentation Evening. The venue was The Bulkeley Hotel, Beaumaris , Isle of Angelsey. See attached photo of the hotel front. It was a great evening with lots of stories told of the Challenge. Parker Ribs being the key sponsor of this event received an award and certification of such which is now on display at the offices of Parker Poland. During the presentation evening I was pleased and honoured to receive a WUKSART Honorary Membership Award.
The guys from WUKSART are a great team and what impressed me most that they are professional guys, well organised, well equipped and very well disciplined.
It was a nice touch when I came down to the bar and saw that the Team was wearing Parker shirts.

Did you go there by boat? ;-)

Could have tied up on the new pier pontoon.

That's the start finish for the round Anglesey record you know? Set quite some time ago now, waiting to be broken....... Whistling!!!

Go on Andre, you know you want to!

No it would have been madness to go by rib and I am not that mad. By car it was 285 miles and that was bad enough.
Nice ribbing area for sure maybe one day
