I was thinking more along the lines of a headset for the handheld VHF, that way I can hear anything important rather than the missus

Perhaps we could approach Gecko and enquire about a special offer for their headset?

They've sold a shedload of helmets over the past 24 hours to RIBnet members, plus a few bags, they might be up for offering (say) a 25% discount for the comms unit to anyone that purchased a helmet?

Hi .. they dont produce or manufacture the Comms sets.
They dont produce or manufacture the bags either so 10% was a big discount to offer on a small mark up for them.

I got an email of Shona with a price of £23 posted for the padded bag.

The price for the padded bag which you posted on here was £12.50 + 20% VAT = £15 - 10% discount = £13.50.. which means they are charging £9.50 for postage

I'll not bother

£43.08 for one dry and one padded to deepest, darkest Cheshire.

Also quoted me £150 as a 'special price' for the Icom M91 compatible headset.

Anyone know how this compares?
