I think you will find it has a paining pad & this is why it looks shallow!
Seen these trailer used for stepped hull boats so the rollers do not get stuck on the step.
Recon it will be good for 65 to 70mph!

Hugh you beet me to it!!

Hugh if you could that would be great as this is the only one i've seen with a sunpad and engine splash well with the built in bench, just what we're after.

The owner of that RIB owned a RibEye (steped hull). He sold the boat but kept the trailer.

Just reading through some info, re. osprey vipermax ribs, why are they only cat c, when a lot of other ribs of this size are cat b.

They're supposed to be pretty gd in the rough so why is this?

Regards,

Freddie

The whole Category thing is a load of nonsense. Some people will err on the side of caution and put a rating that is way below what the boat is capable of - others will use it to try to sell boats and stick on a rating the boat isn't capable of. The system is self certifying so open to a load of abuse.

My 3.10m Quicksilver SIB is rated as a C - as is my 9m - I know which I would rather be out in when it's blowing a force 8!!!
