If a 2 stroke 6 HP is around 120 CC and a 9.8 is same with same weight, better go straight for the 9.8 HP, will push, plane much better than a 6 HP by far.
2 strokes Tohatsu, New Mercs are same CC, don't know about Yamaha, Suzuki ones ?
