5 stud fuel tank sender

Does anyone have a drawing of the stud pattern for the standard 5 hole fuel tank sender?

Haven't got a drawing but their is one in me workshop, would a real one do instead

it's a 15cm one.

I'll bring it tomorrow night.

The drawing on the pdf is great, and yes Pete, if I could borrow one to make a template it would be good.
I presume you mean its 15cm depth in tank, not 15cm diameter boss

I need to make a new gasket for mine, and don't want to leave the sender out of the top of the tank for a couple of days whilst I find time to make it.

Rubber gaskets are available from ASAP supplies, about £2.50 last time I bought one.

Now even I won't bother making one to save £2.50.

Have you thought about selling your spare sender?

The plastic top of mine is split, I was going to try and repair it.
Soldering Iron welding with tie-wrap filler rod works wonders on some plastics.

I think I have a spare gasket I dont need in the shed I will look in the morning.

I've never had much faith in the rubber gaskets, they seem to deform when in contact with fuel. I think the best material is the nitrile based cork sheeting normally used for doing home-made car engine gaskets. Much more stable and slightly more compressible so it makes a good seal.

The ones on ASAPs site do look like they are Cork Based, not Rubber.
