Yes, since the standard parcel rate from the PO is £4.41, I don't mind him making £1.09 for his trouble.

...and I'm the one normally accused of being a tight Scotsman

I wasn't doubting the cost of sending (although 1.5kg does seem heavy). The point was its not £6 for a plastic bottle its £11.50.

Thank you so much for posting this thread! I've been trying to get some of these at reasonable cost for about a year now. Just bought two

Ditto that TUFTY!! Have just bought two myself....for the D project boat. IIRC RNLI stores sell these for around £200 a piece....bargain at £30!!

Many thanks

Dan

yep thanks for the tip...
I think I bought the last two!
Was looking for these for ages, but now I have the new rib and will probably have to sell my Sib, not quite sure what I will do with them.
Hope they are the real deal

Glad to have been of help

Great result for those of you who got some

Getting the word around fast is what forums like Ribnet are great at doing.

Cheers

Paul

Mine arrived today

My two came in today's post....

all as described brand new and in original packaging.....they are marked up as 'seaflex' and dated 2001.

They are virtually identical to the ones we use on the D Class...only diff i can see is that the end panels are black rather than orange.

Am really pleased with them....thanks again TUFTY! Bargain!!
