I can't believe he wanted more than 10k for an inflatable. Doesnt even come with the trailer!!!! What keeps them in business; do people really buy their overpriced vintage gear?

One assumes so, they have been in business for a long time and have a huge amount of spares.
I have learnt in the past however that its best to buy the newest outboard you can afford, my little Suzuki 40 had a right little attitude problem and that was only 1992, just stupid little things, nothing serious but annoying all the same. I dread to think what a 1970's engine would be like. The Tohatsu is 2001 -runs like a watch, a little thirsty at times though.
