Well the weather gods smiled on us today. Unusually for Sagres, the wind dropped completely & the sea was as flat as the proverbial witches mammaries. So this morning, in she went. We had a run up to Cap St Vincent (the southwestern most point of mainland Europe) & saw the Gigantes rock. This resembles the head of a giant looking up to the sun. The coastline is magnificent, more sea caves & blowholes than you can shake a stick at. Days like these make the long drag worthwhile.
