Scum have returned , never noticed this morning, but had a call from the wife at work mid day.
Police had called round neighbours complaining of. A loud noise and some weird commotion, early hrs, asking what was a do, wife said never heard a thing nor did our dog bark, now he's nuts at the drop of a pin,,, So I shrugged it off as one of my neighbours having a domestic or sumat,

But, when I came home things was not as left font of boat propped up real high, its a twin wheeled tailer, front set of wheels of the floor, guess which wheel had the clamp on, the red plastic cover was removed from my hitch lock,, now I know what the noise was , can not beleive I never heard any thing,,,

sorry to hear this...
do you have a PIR light ?
being illuminated may deter them.

3 lights on house and an inbuilt wall lamp at end of drive where my hitch is, in all honestly, my drive is not the easiest to get a boat on and off , if there is another vehicle on the drive, dam near impossible infact, sure there rolling it forward to remove the engine,

I think I would try pinning your dogs nuts to the wheel clamp so as to concentrate his attention!

Seriously though sorry to hear of the problems. My workshop door took a battering over the weekend, looked like a half hearted attempt but i'm preparing some "additional security" in case of a return visit!

Henry Krank sells some cool alarm mines. The cartridges are black powder so big flash and smoke as well as a loud bang. You could set them up in a couple of ways to be triggered no matter what they do.

why are the blank cartridges for that twice the price of 'live' or game rounds?

Guess they don't sell many. You wouldn't use them up quickly.

Not good. Makes my bleed'n blood boil.

Just watched Trevor Macdonald in US in women's high security jail. One woman was sentenced to 16 years for 'strong assault'. That's basically aggravated robbery, just not armed.

The sooner we have heavy sentences (not 3 strikes and you're out sh*te) then we may actually see a decline in crime!

...."bear trap"...

what's the harm in that if the bear trap is somewhere obscure (e.g) inside the console or somewhere that only a thief might go rummaging, cant be accessed accidentally by people or animals and it on private locked land?

Surely after breaking and entering onto private land then tampering with someone else's belongings they get what's coming?

Bear traps, electricity, you name it?

Ironic when protecting your property against scumbags can end up with you in more bother than the P.O.S that's stealing your pride & joy..

I had a spate of getting me garage broken into that I rented in a quiet private yard belonging to a small engineering company over my back garden wall . I resorted to a long length of 30 lb mono fishing line stretched across the yard set at waist level ( above animal height ) so foxes / cats wouldn't set it off fastened to a 3 foot length of 3 inch aluminium tube that I left up ontop of the wall , Only took about a week before around 4 am in the morning there was a clatter of a tubular bells ensemble running all down through the village and into a waiting transit pickup funny as most of the village woke up to see what all the noise was with this guy frustratingly trying to untangle it all from his leg .
