Total newbie to ribs

Hello all,
I plan to travel around UK and Europe in my motorhome and want to buy a quality rib about 3m long. I want it to be able to take up to a 8hp outboard and take 2 adults and a dog. As I would like it to fit collapsed on my rear bike rack, minimum weight is preferred and quality materials that would cope with occasional inflation assuming proper care and storage. Max 60kg. I also want it for a bit of inshore / lake fishing. Grateful for suggestions

Hi and welcome. I wish you well on your travels sounds great. Reading what you want from your purchase I think your best course of action is to replace this in the sibs section as these are the guys that will help you most in relation to meeting your requirements.

Welcome Eaglesman. Loads of advice on here for you.... starting with the Which SIB pinned thread in the inflatable section... I assume you are looking at a fully inflatable "SIB" as opposed to a GRP hull RIB?

A Honwave air floor 3.2m is a good place to start discussion... have a look and see if it is anything like you were thinking of...
