Can anyone advise the if it is possible to locate the serial number for the 5.6 I have recently purchased. Can't find one anywhere and insurance company say they can insure without one. Thanks.

Depends how old it is, it might not have one. If it has, they are usually on the outside of the transom.

think mines on a manufacturers plate on the console below the steering wheel

If you can't find a number, make 1 up for the insurance company ..

Thanks for the replies guys. I will probably have to make one up. Nothing on transom will double check the console.
