Wen u start paying for the fuel it changes everythin completly. . .Wen someone else is paying for it, I dont think we all think about it that much tbh . . .or do we? ? ? ?

I do most of the time . . . But thats me aint it haha

that was my point though - its probably not something you can do single handed (without a car) - I just wanted to check the OP was aware of this limitation compared to his lightweight dinghy.

I understand what you're getting at but it's cool, i don't think there's much of a problem at the club. There's plenty of options, and if all else fails, i'll just borrow a car

Seems the threads alive again, so i though i'd let you know that i'm in pretty much the same position as last post.

I'm getting closer to having enough money to start seriously looking at buying. Aiming for buying in early spring.

I launch single handed, even with a bunked trailer on a decent slipway drive on drive off with barely any winching - and I only get the rubber wet on the tyres

You do have the benefit of a nice steep slip though, which makes all the difference.

Yeah, it's pretty steep. A bit narrow though!

dude, you don't launch off that one. its the two wide ones that you use. they are good at high tide but rather bad at low tides.

Its a john deere but i'm not sure what model, but Andy is the commodore so it must be.

no no the road down to the club is still a nightmare... but the club is fine thanks to camtheribman and a few others fine work with the home made grit.

As above Scott main roads ok but sides roads are totally crap.

Seems to be more Fifers here than I first thought,
We will have to get the clubs together in the summer for some good cruises this year!
