newbie - recue boat interest

Hi, I recently passed my rya level 2 at my sailing club so i could do my bit on the rescue boat and while doing it i became hooked and can't get enough, so much so, that I am looking at purchasing one and spotted the package on the link below.Does any member know of these ribs and are they any good. your advice would be much appreciated,

Hi Kenny,

I am not going to say they are a bad boat, but by my experience you cant beat a SR5.4m which you could do far worse than this one

No not at all a very capable boat for the money, I often launch and recover mine on my own. I see no reason you would not be able to do the same

Ah another SR5.4 fan. The only real downside I see to my SR is not having the raised flared bow to displace the water.

It makes her wet at slower speeds.

I ended up buying the seapro 470 rs in orange with 70hp Evinrude outboard, basically because it was new apart from the outboard which is 2004 model but is fully guaranteed and also is only 20 min drive away from where I live. Many thanks DM for giving me all the info on your rib for sale and thanks to TMB for the link.
