Welcome to the forum from me too... a fellow sibber and someone who has nearly bought a Futura a few times but never quite got there.... and now probably never will as we need a light outfit to carry in the car for a daily set up.

Hi, the Zodiac came with the 25hp Bigfoot. I feel itís a little underpowered for what I use it for but it runs great. The boat tops out at 22mph with 2 people and quite a bit of gear in it. Our Northern California ocean swell is large at times, we definitely donít need to be anywhere near the top speed...

Thank you! I have dreams of deflating the futura, packing it in my truck and driving to Baja (Mexico)
Seems like a lot of work🤣

Ok I see you might get better performance re-propping, My Mercury sib and 25 Suzuki tops out at about 25 mph 10 1/4 x 11 inch prop for info
