New member from Istanbul

Hi this is Burak from Istanbul, I have been following RIBnet for sometime and thought it would be nice to join. I had my first experience on RIBs in UK in Plas Menai years ago since then I have become a big fan of RIBs and SIBs. I have been on many different types of boats but my favorite stays the same.

I currently have a 3.8 meter SIB with a 9.9 Yammy which I am very fond of except its limitation on weather and seas. I use it for fishing and diving. I am planning to upgrade to a 4.8 meter RIB with a 70 or 90hp engine. I spend sometime every summer on the North Aegean coast where the seas are not sometimes very forgiving if you are not in protected waters and the weather changes very quickly.

Anyway very nice community here, happy RIBbing

Hi Burak, and welcome. I visited Istanbul a few years ago and thought it was a fascinating and friendly place. You must have some great rivers and seas you can explore.
