Metezler Maya

I recently was Givin a Metezler Maya boat but is missing all 4 air chamber valves or plugs. The boat seems to be in fair condition otherwise. Any advice or anybody have some laying around the garage? Also am wondering what is a good product to condition the boat? It's a little bit dry and want to get some moisture back into it.

Metzeler's were never (as far as I know) really popular here, but I think they were much more common in Europe.

There is someone in the Bay Area that has one; ran into him on the water for fireworks on the SF Bay one year.

If you can't find someone who knows what valves it uses, you could see about replacing them with another brand of valve.

Try posting in the RIB forum (rather than the North America forum) and see who chimes in.

Wow, old boat. Metzeler got bought out by Zodiac in ~1991 if my memory is correct? They stopped producing inflatable boats around the same time?

The last Metzeler I saw was from the 80s. I believe they're welded PVC. I liked the "quick change" transom feature. I got a kick out of the fact that their boats were only available in orange.
