Lex from Holland
Hi I am Lex and "ribbing" since 2010.
Started with a Zodiac 4.7 Pro and a 40Hp Yam.
I used it for diving, to see if I like driving a boat (I get seasick when standing on a wet newspaper....) and if there are customers who like boatdiving.
That went well, so in 2011 I bought me a old Rescue boat (1993 or so) form Belgium, a 6.3 SKB with a old 115 Hp two stroke Johnson on it.
Johnson was bad so changed it for a E-tec Evinrude 90.
Superb motor, bad the boat drivign was very bad. Wet all the time even with very small waves.
So may be the motor was to light to tilt the nose (and yes I trim the motor out)
Changed the 90 for a E-tec 115.
The boat is flying ! But we still get wet.

The last couple of months I have orientated me for a new boat.
It has to be a boat from 6 till 7 meters. Minimum 6 because of the space I need for the divers, and max 7 because of my car. :-)
Three boats where "in battle" at the end: XS-rib, Ribquest and Humber.
And a Humber Ocean Pro 6.3 it will be (because of a huge price drop).
At this moment I am waiting for the final offer, but don't expect any surprices anymore..

There are also two "important" dutch internet boatforums, and once in a while there is a trip from Holland to the UK....May be seeing you ...:-)
